Michael Fogarty is a co-founder of Coastline Financial Advisors. As a financial planner, he dedicates himself to helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate life’s financial challenges. With a thoughtful, planning-first approach, Michael specializes in risk-based financial planning, tax-efficient wealth management strategies, legacy planning, risk, and investment management.
Michael’s 35 years of progressive financial services experience enable him to employ an analytical yet very personable mindset to his work. “I love helping people solve problems or tackle challenges in their lives.” Michael’s “It’s not how much you have, but how much you get to keep,” philosophy enables clients to enjoy their hard-earned retirement years without concern for running out of money or being unprepared from the vicissitudes of life. Michael earned his BA in Humanities from Providence College and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. He enjoys community service as a member of the Wilmington Central Rotary, supports various charities and causes, and is always willing to devote time to people who want or need his help.
Personally, Michael has been married for 43 years to his lovely wife, Kim. They reside in Leland, NC, and care for Kim’s parents, who are of mid-90s age. They are parishioners of the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary. He is a father of two and a grandfather of three. He is a brother of four and an uncle to seven. He enjoys time with family, friends, and outdoor activities.
